TIM, SARA & BEN WELSH
Welsh Family Biography-
Sara and Tim were born years and MILES apart and were raised in different communities.
Christmas 2014, by God’s design they met in the most unusual way - at a church. Both walking in obedience to the calling of God. It was soon into their relationship they knew that camp ministry was the direction God had them going in together.
2016, they were married and began taking steps to establish CORE 2:15.
Sara and Tim have one son, Benaiah, and their family is pursuing international adoption.
God has brought them to New Carlisle, IN, answering a prayer for a place to help kids discover God. The Welsh family has been serving and getting involved in the community ever since.
Considerations
They prayed, “God, can we have a place with such acres, in LaPorte county, have some water, cost such.”
Let me tell you, it was slushy March of 2021 that they moved to New Carlisle, God brought them to a small farm that fit the exact requests of what they prayed for.
They have been serving and getting involved with the community ever since.
But having a similar nature, both served different camps for many years.
About a year after they were married they started taking steps and incorporated in 2017 the dream and vision God gave and started building a board of directors.
They started on a half an acre in South Bend, prepared the first camp and served a group of eight kids! Encouraged people through 2020 and prayed for a place to plant.
They continued to serve other camps in the Michiana area.

Shawn and Amy have 2 sons and a daughter. He accepted Jesus as his savior as a child and was baptized as a teen. And continues to seek and do God's will each day.

I came to know Christ through Campus Crusade for Christ in 2007. Since then, the Lord has been renewing my mind to understand his favor more and more. My wife Holly and I have 3 kids: Ananias, Sarah, and Aaron. My family attends Grace Church where I also serve as an elder.
Hobbies & Interests: reading, hiking, bonfires, Korean and Chinese films, and spending time with my family.

BAYLEE RUDDELL

Baylee has been involved with camping ministry since she was a camper in the early 2000's. God secured her passion for the wilderness while she spent most of the Covid lockdowns backpacking in the Rocky Mountains. She loves talking about ecology and the way God perfectly designed creation.
Baylee holds a M.A. of Leadership focused on Outdoor Ministry from Wheaton College. She lives in Columbus, Indiana serving her community through discipleship and radical hospitality.
VALERIE HISER

Experience: I love the Lord and try to follow His lead by serving and equipping His people. I worked at a private Christian school for two years while operating a small business for the past several years teaching children.

I am married to Robert Hiser and have a wonderful daughter that attends middle school. Our family loves the Lord and we enjoy the outdoors such as swimming, camping,playing softball and cooking. We also love to study God's Word as a family in our own personal devotions. The Lord has been so kind and loving and I want to follow Him in every way that I possibly can.
